The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it can be alarmed concerning the large variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The support issue created for intervention encounters a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the office to attend to all people sassa status check who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to allow the servicing of all clients and maximize entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
